Ateneo BOx wrapped up the school year with BOx Night, a fun-filled night showcasing the talents and recognizing the quirks and outstanding efforts of its members while also raising funds for environmental education last June 16.

Aside from bringing the members together, an important agenda of the BOx Night is to raise funds for the Danjugan Environmental Education Program of the Philippine Reef and Rainforest Conservation Foundation.

Through a raffle fundraiser, BOx was able to raise up to 7,500 pesos for the environmental education program in Danjugan Island in Cauayan, Negros Occidental.

During the event, a number of distinctions were awarded to BOx members based on nominations and voting.

Alyssa Tañas, the outgoing BOx President, reaped a handful of awards such as The Anomaly and Most Likely to be the next BOx President

Other awardees are as follows: Joan Lim for Always Fresh on Cam; Lara Valmores and Joan Lim for Best Beadle; Marcus Sahagun, the outgoing VP for Secretariat Documentations and Chief Finance Officer, for BS Org Award; Andrea Yu for Crush ng Bayan; Kyle Guevarra for Fossil of the Year; Kyle Banzali and Ash Sanchez for Love Team of the Year; JR Pangilinan with Tañas for Most Likely to be the next BOx President; Kyle Banzali for Most Pabibo Freshie of the Year; Miguel Valencia for Nerd Award; Ynno Salloman for Panda; and Trekker Villalon with Tañas for The Anomaly Award

BOx Night was also brightened up by the performances of talented artists—Poli and EB, 1081, Thursday Honey, Indigo Wells, and Joaquin Sorreta and Jesi Acuña.

The program was hosted by Kyle Guevarra and Matthew Profeta.

BOx Night’s success was made possible through the work of the core team led by project heads Eleni Tanriosa and Kyle Banzali.
